  RESOURCES

We are excited to share the resources found on this page so that you may read about the impact that fragrance and other toxic chemicals have on the environment that you call home, and the negative effects that this can have on your pets and your own health.  We hope that you will be inspired to make some simple changes that will greatly improve the safety of your home environment and your health/well-being and that of your family, friends, and pets.

Below you will find resources that provide information on symptoms and health conditions caused by the chemicals found in fragrance (backed up by published scientific studies!), information on the dangers of essential oils, safer product suggestions and much more. We encourage you to begin your journey of discovery by exploring the first resource below, the very eye-opening interactive poster put together by Fragrance Free Coalition (FFC) which includes the published studies.

We are happy to have you join us in making our homes safer for pets and people!

We'll be adding new article links frequently so please check back in!

Cat Being Cozy

New carpets and rugs often emit volatile organic compounds (VOCs) from adhesives, synthetic materials, and stain treatments. While this affects everyone in the household, pets (and young children too) are especially vulnerable due to their constant close contact with the floor. The same indoor toxins raising concern for human health can quietly harm our animals too. Click for more info.
