Kids, Let's Protect Our Pets!

Welcome to your very own zone on Happy Pets & People — a place just for kids (and your pets too)!

Did you know that some things in our homes — like certain sprays, candles, and cleaners — can bother your pet's nose, skin, and even lungs? But here's the cool part: you can help make your home a safer place for your furry, feathered, or scaly friends!

Become a Pet Protector!

You don’t have to be a grown-up to make a big difference. You can be a Protector of Pets by learning simple things, making small changes, and spreading the word.

You can:

  • Help your family choose pet-safe cleaners and fresh air instead of scented sprays

  • Keep your pet’s favorite resting spots cozy and chemical-free

  • Remind grownups that pets smell things 100x better than humans!

Send Us Your Story or Pic!

We want to hear about your pet! Tell us what makes them special or how you’re helping keep them healthy at home.
You can even send us a photo, drawing, or video — and with a grownup’s permission, we might feature it right here!

Earn a Badge

Coming soon: digital badges or buttons you can earn when you complete cool pet protector missions like:

  • Learning one new fact about pet-safe air

  • Helping make one room fragrance-free

  • Sharing a pet protector tip with a friend

Gear for Young Heroes

We’ll soon have kid-sized shirts, stickers, yard flags, and more so you can show the world you're a proud Protector of Pets. Stay tuned for our shop launch!

Cool Fact

Helping your pet helps you, too! The same things that can bug their noses and lungs can sometimes affect humans — especially kids. So when you protect your pet, you’re also helping your family.
