About

As a deep seer and keen observer, Yvonne instinctively seeks hidden beauty and form, both by way of the human generated world and via the natural world…and often in the space where the two worlds collide and intermingle.  She has a special interest in the plant kingdom and all things related and she is drawn to deep-exploration of the various environments that she encounters, bringing forth what may go unnoticed by casual observation and delighting in the opportunity to discover and bring life to latent phenomena hiding within existing surroundings. Yvonne is especially intrigued with subtleties, details, and pattern, as well as subjects that evoke the primal, mystical, and mysterious.

"When out and about with camera in hand, I am one with the environment.  I am an explorer on an adventure making discoveries with my camera as the environment reveals its secrets to me.  It is my hope that my photographs will foster a deeper sense of seeing in others."

 

Some of Yvonne's other interests include spirituality, philosophy, mysticism, bird watching, connecting with animals, art & design, creating landscapes and other environments, Victorian & Gothic eras, historic and archaic things in general, sound, music & composing/songwriting, flora & fauna, animism, advocating and offering revelations and insights.
