Local herd of deer observed.
We were blinded by the intense sun for a few seconds, then stopped the car, then found ourselves amongst a herd of deer.
Magical!

I was taken for a much needed little drive locally on Friday. We came across an interesting area on the side of the road. I was intrigued by this moveable barrier called “Water-Wall”. It was like a world onto itself! The company info was intriguing and listed multiple patents, it had interesting shadows, graffiti, painterly discolorations created by the water that filled it, mini landscapes within the two rectangular holes in the body of the unit, plus more!….including a moisture loving microcosm teeming with life inside the barrier due to the fill hole cap being missing. There was a LOT going on in there! I’ll try to post pics of that soon.

Cool lanterns spotted at a small hidden Buddhist Temple in La Puente on the way home from physical therapy to treat fractured tibia. Small pleasures. Have been unable to walk for about 10 weeks now.
